Without exaggeration, since buying this printer at the end of JULY 2020, I have needed to contact Epson each and every time I have needed to print.

Each
And
Every
Time!

I am beyond frustrated with it and want to throw it out the window, then run around the house to go stomp on it for good measure.

HOW can we be so advanced in so many areas, and yet Epson's connect and print technology is still so outdated and crappy? SERIOUSLY, you'd think that with the EIGHT different bloatware programs their "lite driver" (I'd hate to see the non 'lite' one) installed on my system, ONE of them would actually be able to communicate with the printer, but noooooooo!

After being on hold with them for 27 minutes, someone just picked up, then hung up. #&%@$@!
After finally reaching someone and after an hour and one minute of 'troubleshooting', I was transferred to a supervisor, and then a Level 2 Escalation Technician... THE very FACT that they need Level 2 Escalation Technicians FOR SIMPLE PRINTERS, ought to tell you something.

Stay away from Epson printers.

NOTHING worked, so DID indeed throw it out the window after Epson did not even offer service or replacement on a practically NEW unit.

Let me reiterate:
Stay away from Epson printers!

I have an Epson WF-4740 Workforce Pro machine that has a failed scanner function. This device is just over a year old and I have used the scanner function sparingly, it is used mostly for printing an copying. When the scanner function stopped working, I called Epson support and was told that it is a hardware issue with the machine. I was told that since I was just out of warranty that I would have pay big bucks to get it fixed - that I may want to consider just buying a new one because that would be cheaper. Way to go Epson! It's a problem created by you and yet you refuse to make good on it. This will undoubtedly be the only Epson printer I ever buy! I highly recommend buyers to stay away from not only this model, but Epson overall. What good is a company that won't fix a problem created by them?! You want to charge me to fix your malfunction?! Goodbye!

Never ever buy the worst Epson Printer.

Never ever buy the worst Epson Printer.
Worst printer on this earth. Makes issues periodically with the cartridges even with original one.

Will not honor 3 year warranty

Bought 4 epson FX-890II-N and 2 DFX-9500 printers in 10/2019, all advertised with 3 years warranty.
Tried to get FX-890IIN serviced on 04/07/2021, their web site claimed it is out of warranty? They don't seemed to honor it? Bought them directly from epson and provided their order #.
So far no cooperation, been in business since 1985, guessed I will have to recommend Okidata?
Such sad company...

DO NOT EXPECT EPSON TO BACK THEIR PRODUCTS...

I've been trying for 2 years to fix my printer, and have been in constant contact with their customer service but I have never had a helpful response. I'll tell them I can't connect wirelessly and their response is "once you connect wireless, do this.." etc. They don't even read the emails. And I have never gotten through to a person on the phone. My EcoTank ET-2750 has literally never worked once. I can be patient when things don't work if the customer service is helpful and we find a solution, but Epson straight up decided it wasn't their problem and left me to figure it out. It's a waste of my time and money and I'll never buy or recommended them to anyone again.

Epson ET-2500 eco tank.

Epson ET-2500 eco tank.
This is a home use printer only which I bought for the ink tank. What I didnt realise is that Epson put a counter on their tank printers so that they stop working after they have printed a certain number of sheets (around 5000 sheets in my case) and you cannot self-service. The cost of service to reset this counter is almost as much as the cost of a new printer, causing premature obsolescence of fully operational printers. Epson are effectively contributing to an environmental issue, and they should be better than this.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service: I was on hold for 40 minutes for Epson customer support Ireland. The call then hung up without anyone answering me. Very disappointing customer service. I looked at other reviews and there seems to be a widespread problem with customer support. FYI to anyone thinking of buying from this company.

Bought an epson 440, i ran out of ink, so i replaced the black just to print black only, but it doesnt allow you to. I went in and put print black/greyscale only , but it only prints blank pages, printer says must replace blue ink cartridge... i just want black print, why the #$@! What a scam. I will never buy another epson again !!! I tried numerous things to print black only, nothing worked, so i thought id call customer support... u know what they said, id be charged for that support.. what a joke !!! Never again Epson.

THE PRINTER I BOUGHT IS USELESS

THE EPSON PRINTER I BOUGHT IS USELESS, EPSON DOES NOT LET YOU USE ANY KIND OF INK. THEY PROGRAM IT SO YOU HAVE TO USE THEIR INK, WHICH IS SELFISH AND MESSED UP! DO NOT BUY EPSON! NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, YOU WILL GET MESSAGES SAYING "INK NOT RECOGNIZED". I HOPE THEY LOSE A LOT OF BUSINESS BECAUSE OF THIS GLITCH THEY CAUSED! BAD, BAD!

Goes through ink like a madman

I have an EPSON WF-2860 printer and I am writing this while I am on hold with their tech support (over 45 min so far). When the printer updated the firmware yesterday, my ink cartridges no longer work. Evidently Epson has added programming in this last update that forces you to use their more expensive, branded ink cartridges. I don't think I've printed more than 50 pages and I'm now into almost the original cost of the brand new printer in ink. This is a great printer if you don't mind buying EPSON ink frequently.

This is the WORST company to deal with. Their products are filling up landfills left and right. They do not even make hardware to fix them they just tell you to buy a new one!!! Or they send you a new one. Horrible way to treat our planet. Shame shame shame on Epson.

Ink printers are the work of the devil

Ink printers are the work of the devil. They never ever work, and all they do is rip you off your money and make you completely furious.
Buy a laser printer, or dont buy a printer at all.
